It all began when a lovely couple called and wanted to meet as they were thinking of bringing their family together for their 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration…
Providing our couple with a tour and sharing with them different plated and buffet options we offer, they were really getting excited at the possibility of this celebration. Understanding their budget as well as the other events we serve, allows me an opportunity to provide great suggestions and ideas to stay within those budgets. The Foster's being strict vegetarians, we designed an all vegetarian buffet to accommodate their need while providing a buffet that was aesthetically pleasing as well as tasty. We often venture off our menu to accommodate needs and requests.
Yes, linens are included, what colors do you like? My recommendation was gold linens napkins to complement their Golden Anniversary.
Our Grand Ballroom is a perfect destination for celebrations with a stage and podium & microphone, a perk for family members to come up and share fun memories and congratulations, and they did. Family and friends from all over the state of Ohio came to town dressed in their Sunday bests to celebrate The Fosters.
The buffet set to perfection, family and friends entering in hugs of happy reunion, my answer will always be, “Yes, celebrate this milestone in life!”
Fed and happy, they added singing and guest speakers to their agenda, giving their children and grandchildren an opportunity to both perform say something special. What a wonderful touch.
Completely not expecting, I was asked to come up and say something to family and friends. Unprepared, I shared the first thing that came to my mind as I looked across a ballroom of guests. I shared with them, “The first day I met the Fosters, when they asked should even have a celebration, my reply was absolutely, yes! What a milestone in life and an example of marriage, in this day and age, where most don’t see a 50th anniversary. You are a beautiful example to your children and you grandchildren of the endurance of marriage and I am proud of you both! Congratulations!”
