Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We wanted to keep things simple - keeping with golds/ silver/ rose gold really popped against burgundy bridesmaid dresses and navy blue suits.
Q: Tell us your love story! How did he propose?
Ben and I have a unique story. We met in Colorado Springs while I was on a job interview. A mutual friend set us up to have dinner and we kept in contact after I left just 2 days later. Three months later Ben was deployed to Germany and Romania for 9 months serving in the Army. We decided to make it work and I was fortunate enough to visit him over New Years. Ben proposed a few days before the 2019 new year in Romania. We started planning a wedding for July 2019 and Raintree was the most perfect place for our special day.
Q: What do you remember most about you wedding day?
Some of the littlest things are what I remember most from the wedding. I remember getting ready with my sisters and best friends, just after the ceremony when we walked to the foray to our immediate family congratulating us with lots of love and excitement! We danced and sang the night away so much that I barely had a voice the next morning - very worth it!
Other event planners will never compare to my experience with Dawn. The day of the wedding my mother's feet were hurting and Dawn went to extra mile to let my Mom borrow Dawn's shoes! Close friends who got married shortly after have said many times they wish they had a Dawn. Her excitement for our big day helped my excitement grow leaps and bounds!
Q: What did you appreciate most at Raintree Golf and Event Center?
How smoothly the entire day went! We originally planned on having an outdoor ceremony but it rained. Dawn and the entire staff were calm and easily transitioned to having the ceremony indoors. Dawn was willing to work with me on any last minute changes and helped out the entire day to keep everything moving. I received countless compliments on how nice the bartenders were from friends.

- Videographer: none - we arranged a shared google photos folder and on top of our professional photos got about 200 more pictures and videos from friends and family

- Florist: Oh! You're Lovely Sola Wood Flowers - we arranged and get to keep them forever!
- DJ/Entertainment: Guitar Center speakers and lights!
- Cake: Acme Bakery - cake and donuts were a huge hit!
